AA in anthropology?

ok well first off, i think trying to get an aa degree while still in hs is a great idea if you have the time. but i would really recommend getting it in general studies or some liberal arts field. this is because no one ever became an archaeologist with only an aa degree. if you just go to your local CC and get a general degree- one, you wont have to worry about the general liberal arts courses once you get to a 4 yr school and -two, if you decide to change your mind down the road, and want an undergraduate degree in something else, you could still easily change your mind. i go to nyu and have never heard of any cc offering an AA in anthropology. this is bc they only offer general cles like you said. if you want to study anthropology or archeology, do it once you get to a 4 yr university.
