Pertaining to Abraham sacrificing his son.?

If I had any children I would never force them to devote their lives to anything in which they don't believe. What they choose would be of their own free will and accord. I am not a Christian but a Deist. I do not believe the Bible to be the inerrant word of God. Afterall, there are over 5,200 denominations worldwide which are based on one Bible. Yet every single denomination, with equal pion, thinks they're correct in their interpretations. If a child of mine wanted to become a Priest I would not discourage it. However, I would encourage him to be objective to make sure he had firm beliefs that he acquired of his own findings, using his own God-given reason, rather than relying on pressure to conform to cultic, or man-made dogmas.
