Do all orthopedists perform surgery?

Do pediatric orthopedists perform surgery? What is the difference between a pediatric orthopedist besides working with children? I'm in high school and I may want to go into this field. I don't have a huge problem with surgery or anything, I know that it is a large part of this job. I know that the technicians or istants don't do surgery, but set bones and other things.
