What is the best way to reach kodaik from Bangalore?

I am thinking of taking a Train from bangalore City Jn to Kodai road station (Tuticorn), but I think after that I have to travel some extra kms to actually go to the main hilly spot at kodaik. Please advice how to plan my travel. I am also planing to visit "Munnar" from kodaik and back to Bangalore..
