Is this normal pleas help?

ok so i like this guy tony and tony is really protective over me. i have lots of friends and don't hang with one group. im a happy person and my friends and teachers say i can make friends with anyone and make even the worst day better. im not sure if this is true but it sure is Easy for me 2 make friends. im friends with a lot of Tony's friends who usually don't like people who aren't like them and in their group and mostly they don't have many real Friends that are girls. Thea's guys especially tony are really protective of me. for example one of my guy friends likes to hug me and anytime im hugging him one of them is always waiting making sure everything going on is just a hug and ok with me and pretty much everywhere i go in school one of them is not far behind me. i like tony and don't mind him or my other friends looking out for me but how far is to far and is this normal. they are all really close friends and im really happy to be one of their only close girl friends but its getting a little weird i fell like they don't trust me to take care of myself and tony has told me before he does not like other boys touching me but he has never told me. he likes me and i really like him any serous input is appreciated.
