Is there a solution to winning the war in Afghanistan?

I am sick and tired of hearing people go on about getting our troops out of Afghanistan. No one seems to have a good strategy about what to do if our troops leave and I know that the Taliban or some other Extremists Warlord will take over and we will be fighting somebody else in 20 years time trying to solve the problem again. I don't know about you but I fear that if we left now, it will be our children fighting a war that we ourselves could fight and win if we just stick it out.
