Can someone explain this to me/give it a meaning?

So a few days ago I was having probably the most intense moment of my life, and it was a very negiative experience because I found out something that completely uprooted everything I built myself up on, so in the midst of a three hour crying session I went to a beautiful place by my house and looked over across a river and for a good 5 minutes everything I was seeing had a purple tint to it, a very noticable one actually. Does anyone know of any angels or spiritual phenemenom acciated with purple? Can someone explain this please?
